The first three animations in this section show how a comparative approach can be used to demonstrate equivalent levels of fire safety to that implied by guidance. The ‘Beyond Guidance’ animation illustrates our preferred approach. It is an absolute approach – an approach we are keen to develop and take forward for all building types and sizes.
